tranquility


tranquility

This week's theme at illustrationfriday.com is "tranquility". I thought of this old illustration that I did for a picture book that I wrote and illustrated (yet to be published). It is young me, lost in the happy and tranquil act of threading cut up straws onto a string to make a necklace. Please click on image for a bigger and better view.

Oh yes, and also tearing the edges of a minties wrapper, or threading macaroni, or threading daisies! Lovely image :)
