in orange and white
floral
baggie bound
tied with a twist tie
and bought
for 50 cents
by me
looking for stories
among the saved objects
rejected for personal use
but saved for the perhaps of a person
who should want them
lacey and open
spaces that tell time
and place
all the garments they didn't have the chance on
in my capable hands
sticthes into another time
threads that connect us
even in unnatural fibres
tenderness in the care
to bag the bits
thinking someone may find them beautiful
